What are the Sunday Services like?

Our congregation includes people from diverse backgrounds. We enjoy a broad range of musical styles in our services: from traditional choirs to orchestra to a five piece band. The services are 75 minutes in length, with about 20% devoted to worship, music and prayer, 20% dedicated to Ministry information and 60% given to Biblical teaching and exposition.

Each month on the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord's Table. Unlike many churches, we do not hold a Sunday Evening Service; this was a ministry decision. It allows for many of our Small Groups to meet, so that encouragement and friendships can have the time to develop.

Worship Services

Webster defines worship as "extravagant respect or admiration for or devotion to an object of esteem." How does worship happen at First Free on Sundays? Our desire as we gather each week is to declare our extravagant respect and admiration for the Lord Jesus. Our worship services are characterized as warm, engaging, friendly, energetic gatherings where we declare God's greatness through music, through preaching and teaching, through praying together, and life together in community.

Whether you are a life-long church attender, or someone who is just beginning to question what Jesus is all about, there is a place for you at First Free! We are privileged to have two worship gatherings each Sunday. In our 650 seat worship center we sing everything — from songs written last week to songs written last century — with every kind of instrumentation — from a rhythm section one week to a choir and strings the next. All are welcome as we gather!

Our Sunday worship service times are 9:00 am and 10:35 am. The same ministry, music, message is offered in each service.

At the 9:00 am hour we offer opportunities for nursery, pre-school, elementary (K-5th grade), middle school (6th – 8th grade), and adults.

At the 10:35 am hour we offer opportunities for nursery, pre-school, elementary (K-5th grade), high school (9th – 12th grade), College / Grad, and adults.
